The Association was started by Sensei Vasant Singh in Feb, 2010. The headquarters of the Association are in the industrial city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Kyokushin Kaikan Karate was founded by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama to teach his style of Full Contact Karate to the world. Till date it remains the only Full Contact Style of Karate amongst all the styles of Karate in the world. This makes the Kyokushin Kaikan Style more than a sport, it makes it a serious martial art aimed at teaching its students to resist pain and hardship. It teaches discipline, hard work and the code of honour which Sosai left for his students to follow.
