Training

Kyokushin kaikan Karate teaches disciples to accept and handle pain and harsh conditions. It teaches that to prevail over difficult situations while being defensive is the best way to solve violent situations. With this in mind, the training is done in such a way that the disciples become rougher and more capable of handling themselves in situations where bodily injury might be possible.

Jogging for a few miles, stretches and general warmups are a part of the beginning exercises. Pushups and other freestyle exercises are used to help develop necessary strength and body structure to enable disciples to handle the rigorous strains the techniques put on a body.

Breaking ice, boards and stone & Marble slabs is a way of testing one's training level and ability.
